LINCC-Frameworks is a very special collaboration of research scientists, software engineers, and faculty. We aim to support science for the Vera C. Rubin Observatory's Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) through solid software practice and scalable infrastructure. You can learn more about the team on the LINCC-Frameworks webpage.
This wiki provides technical information, links, and resources for the team's ongoing projects. It is meant as a resource for both team members and potential collaborators.
The team is currently focusing on a few primary project areas:
- Scalable catalog cross-matching (HiPSCat/LSDB)
- Flexible framework for robust analysis of time series data at LSST scale (TAPE)
- A community-wide photo-z framework (RAIL)
- Scaling moving object algorithms to Rubin data volumes (KBMOD)
We're also engaging broadly with the astro community in some ways:
- LINCC Incubators
- LINCC Tech Talks
- Python Project Template (documentation)
- Community projects to which we contribute.
For information on the LINCC-Frameworks development process see the linked wiki page and associated documents.
