I'd like an option to show directories directly, without splitting them by language. This is useful for those of us working in environments with multiple languages in nested subdirectories (e.g. C/CHeader, Java/Scala/Kotlin, Python/Cython, inline markdown docs). For colors, a reasonable behavior would be to show the color of the language that's most frequent in the directory.
In my specific case, I work with a project that mixes a lot of Scala and Java, and it's difficult to get an intuitive sense of scale from the output for the directories that have both.
Feel free to assign this issue to me.
