Failed many times while installing webdriver-ts

Hi,

I was trying to run benchmark for my web framework. However, when I did npm ci for webdriver-ts, the install failed several times at the same place, with the error message like that:

Do you have any idea on what the issue could be and how I can proceed with it?

I tried to remove the lockfile /Users/xintao/Library/Caches/ms-playwright/__dirlock and then retry, but still failed at the same location.

After cleaning the cache with npm cache clean --force

Now I kept getting Error: Socket timeout, with error message like that:

I checked the log. It looked like some packages were installed successfully, as there were logs like:

Could you help let me know how I can diagnose the issue?

• Is there a way to check for which package I'm getting the socket timeout?
• If this is due to I'm having a slow internet, is there a way for me to increase the timeout?

The issue was resolved after upgrading the npm binary. No idea on why the problem appeared in the first place.
