I wish, pandoc options changed over time, so I had to apply custom changes to the package code myself.

I love this package, but it certainly doesn't appear to be actively developed. How do we work on getting a new maintainer? @kawabata What are your thoughts?

I'd be willing to take over maintenance and fix some of outstanding bugs and apply patches. If @kawabata isn't around, we can ask MELPA to change the fork the package is built from once it's cleaned up.

Update: the MELPA maintainers have kindly adopted this package with the changes on my fork into the emacs-orphanage: https://github.com/emacsorphanage/ox-pandoc/

It has been set as the source for future MELPA releases so updated packages should start being automatically built shortly.
