Hi again @jvoermans ,

I am really confused about this sonar, I think as we have discussed that their library code has some bugs in it that are dangerous for the whole code executing on the Arduino.

I pushed a much simplified version of the sonar logging, where I only log the distance and confidence; can you pull from github, check that everything is up to date, and try one more time?

If this does not work, I still want to try a couple of tricks, and then unfortunately I will have to give up. I think that a complete rewrite of the sonar library would be necessary. Honestly, I would be quite interested in doing this myself, but I do not have the time at the moment - maybe that happens over the summer holidays, ping me then!

In the meantime, great if you can let me know how the test with the latest version of the code goes, maybe we iterate a few times more, and if it does not work within a couple of days, I will just remove the sensor from the Due logger, and we should perform the full-scale testing we were discussing (several days, with "field conditions" values for the file length).
