SSO plugin

Hello,
I just setup WP oauth server together with the Single Sign On Client plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/single-sign-on-client/). But, according to the WordPress plugin page, the SSO client plugin is closed because of security issues.

So, I have some questions:
Do you recommend OR is it safe (as far as you know) to use the Single Sign On Client plugin?
If not, do you recommend another plugin for this task?
