@jupyter/media-strategy-working-group as part of a discussion in the EC about announcing the election results, it was suggested that we publish stories like this in the Jupyter voice. That is, as Project Jupyter, rather than as an individual. So two requests:

  • I've just submitted an article announcing the election results. If you review and publish that, please publish it as Project Jupyter.
  • Please add the EC members as editors so we can publish posts as Project Jupyter.

I'm not very familiar with Medium, so if there's a difference process we should use to achieve this, let's work it out.

I'll also note that this isn't the appropriate repo for this request (see #263) but I don't know of any other communication channel for the JMS WG.

Thanks

A quick technical detail: being an editor does not enable people to post "as" Project Jupyter. To post as project Jupyter, one needs to log in with the corresponding email.

We should add the EC members to the JMS vault on the password manager so that you have access to this account. However, none of the current JMS members have enough priviledges to do so. @Ruv7 may be able to.

Hi @rpwagner. Thank you for creating this issue. For submissions we are currently following a process described in "Project Jupyter Media Submission Guidelines" (https://jupyter.org/media_submissions) using [email protected] email as a primary communication channel.

Same email can be used for any communication or requests (this is touched on in "Media Strategy" page at https://jupyter.org/social).
