Hi @titust1 , PiAlert might be enabling some additional scans and has a different default list of arguments set up for ARPSCAN: You can tweak the default ARPSCAN arguments in NAX easily via settings to make it more aggressive if you prefer this approach: With NAX you can supplement the ARPSCAN with a range of plugins: https://github.com/jokob-sk/NetAlertX/blob/main/front/plugins/README.md For example you can additionally enable NMAPDEV. For name resolution I'd need to see examples of names that are resolved better or differently to give you opinions on that. For name resolution, NAX is relying on 3 different plugins, so make sure they are enabled ( Thanks for additional details in advance, |

It does that by design. The problem happens only when I use the Polar HR monitor strapThe strap works fine showing perfectly the HR but…. It ends the workout suddenly When I don’t use it the problem doesn’t not appear So just forget it save your money You have very bad product for a 500$ console Titus. Thanks for additional details in advance,

I installed both from scratch Netalertx and Pi-alert, and left them both to acquire data for 48h with their default config in 2 different containers. In the end, netalertx discovered 45 devices and Pi-alert 63. My local network is very very simple. I have a router (which plays the role of DHCP) and a simple Class C segment 192.168.1.0/24. Nothing fancy, no need to scan for web services. I can see that netalert is using the ARPSCAN plugin and Pi-alert says ICMPSCAN=true. Also the accuracy of the discovered host names is much better in Pi-alert.
Am I doing something wrong??? or should I do something in particular?
