After commentpara.de login: Uncaught (in promise) SyntaxError: Unexpected token a in JSON at position 0 #1

Chromium 65 shows the following in the error console:

Uncaught (in promise) SyntaxError: Unexpected token a in JSON at position 0
Promise.then (async)
init @ main.js:671
(anonymous) @ main.js:692

What I did:

Go to https://grumble.isgeek.net
Enter https://commentpara.de/
Click Login
On commentpara.de, click "Login"
Error is shown in console

After that, I also cannot send a reply because it tries to POST to https://grumble.isgeek.net/null.
