Improved search (Search that can include date, vendor, etc)

It would be great to have the ability to enter dates as well as other fields into the search to bring up results.

For example if I want to find expenses from Bunnings that were on the 14/12/23 I would like to be able to search "Bunnings 14/12/24" to bring up such results. Or perhaps partials such as "Bunnings 12/23".

Same thing with dollar amount or notes eg. "Bunnings $31.34" or "Bunnings bubblewrap" to show these results.

Searching for dates does not currently show any results. Unless there is a way to do it that I'm missing, this would be great to have.

This would be really handy particularly for expenses but also in other areas where search exists.

Currently, the recommended way would be to run a report, here you could filter by date and several other options.

Then use the Preview option from the More Actions dropdown.

The preview section will then allow you to filter again.
