The idea of unmuting video/audio chat includes also some privacy issues. If i unmute another person, I instantly also eavesdrop on his/her conversations. Although the purpose of the tool is to do that, its something that we and the users should be aware of. Also I think we should make it very clear if you are in an unmuted state or not. Notification Messages are one way, but better would be a permanent thing, an icon in the icon bar or a floating message or something.

Maybe a solution for that could be buttons where you don't choose busy/available but available for video chat/available for just text chat for example... And if you choose available for video chat that means someone can just unmute you when he/she needs to talk to you.
