I have searched the existing issues, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate report.

The bug

Hi, I have recently updated immich from 1.124.2 to the latest 1.129.0. I am not sure which update broke this behaviour but after update after clicking archive photo - photo still does appear in the timeline. I am not 100% sure if this is intentional or a bug but the very least it's a regression.
It may do a huge impact for some people (like me) who use archiving to filter out bad photos from good ones to later delete from the phone to keep everything in sync. Now this workflow becomes much harder as the photo which is considered "bad" one is still in the timeline and messes up the decision making flow.
It would be nice to have an option to "Show archived photos in timeline" toggle if someone uses archive for the mentioned purpose or some other creative flow.
This happens on web but does not on mobile (phew).

I have done some more testing and mobile app is not impacted. On web it is 100% a bug. After archiving photo it does not disappear from timeline. After refreshing immich web page - it does disappear.

Edit: Also forgot to add - I am using firefox 135.0.1

@sarunas-zilinskas Thanks for the screen record, I was testing on the timeline and it works fine. Didn't realize you are performing the action in a different view.

@midzelis Looks like the asset-store isn't updating when the action is performed from the detail viewer
