AlertDialogs triggered from DropdownMenu RadioItem selections

Hi,

I'm trying to generate different AlertDialogs after making different DropdownMenu RadioItem selections. This is a code snippet I have, but the AlertDialog doesn't trigger when I click on the RadioItem element. If I comment out the RadioItem line below and uncomment the Button line just below it, it works.
