Currently, Horilla lacks a Leave Entitlement and Earning Policy feature, which is crucial for proper leave accrual management. This feature was previously set up with HR.my, and we require similar functionality within Horilla.
Use Case
The ability to prorate leave entitlement over a year and earn it on a monthly basis.
Employees should accrue 1.25 annual leave days per month from their hiring date.
The accrual period should be monthly.
Employees should earn leave at the end of the accrual period.
Each month's allocation should be predefined (e.g., 1.25 days per month, totaling 15 days annually).
This feature ensures compliance with various HR policies and provides automated, structured leave management.
Proposed Solution
Introduce a Leave Entitlement Policy where admins can define:
Accrual method (e.g., Monthly, Yearly)
Prorated earning method (e.g., Start of Month, End of Month, Anniversary-based)
