Version number and update

Hello everyone, I happily installed horilla on ubuntu 24.
To do that I started from the command

git clone https://github.com/horilla-opensource/horilla.git

Two questions:

1. How can I know the version numerb I installed
2. How can I update horilla with the new release that exit?

To answer your questions:

1. How to know the version number you installed:

   • After cloning the repository, activate the virtual environment you set up for Horilla, install the dependencies listed in requirements.txt, and then use the following command to check the packages and their versions:

     pip list

     This will display a list of installed packages along with their versions, in Horilla.

2. How to update Horilla to a new release:

   • To update Horilla to the latest version, navigate to the horilla directory and run:

     git pull origin main

Hi @horilla-opensource Thank you very much for your prompt response, but if I give the command
pip list

I obtain all the dependencies installed with the version number, but how can I know if I installed Horilla 1.1.0, or 1.2.0, or 1.2.1 ?

And the differences between versions, which can drive me to decide to change or not the version, are written in some release notes?
