I wonder if it is possible to somehow update in R only some of the trelliscopejs panels without running all the data through again, e.g. if I have 5000 panels, but just want to update a few or add/delete a few panels? Running all the data again would take a lot of computing resources.
This way the trelliscope display could be made more realtime with lighweight computing, to be a quickly responding data access tool for streaming data, that changes only a small proportions of all data.
One application would be listening to streaming data from an external database, grabbing updates/new/delete items and partially updating the trelliscope continuously, say at hourly intervals.
Any suggestions?

hello @hafen
No-one has yet replies, so reaching out to you in case you have comments/suggestions on my query?
I am keen to expand the trelliscope use in our ministry at MBIE in NZ.
Cheers
