Hot Settings contains some features for:

• hiding margins
• hiding visible editor adornments

I tried to implement commands to hide all, but not sure how well they are implemented.

Also, consider Hot Windows (VSWindowManager) which has:

• hide all tool windows
• hide the tool window side bars (this is now in 15.8 Window->Side Side Bars)

Hot Settings comes with:

• Margin context menu
• Editor Context Menu (mostly only working on C# editor)
  • "View" menu.
  • Also contains "Scrollbar" menu.
• Button in Solution Explorer to toggle "Track Active Items"
• Error info on the status bar when caret on squiggle (C# only?)
