Describe the problem to be solved

Hi Grist,

I'm currently a consultant advising a few large scale companies (think thousands to tens of thousands of employees) on their technology adoption and stack interoperability. I've been eyeing Grist as an Excel replacement for about 1/3 to 1/2 of the work currently done in Excel (Data sharing including basic computations on that Data).

When I move through life, much less act as a consultant, I create a lot of presentations with even more design assets. I pull in logos and fonts, trademarks and even capture parts of websites to make presenting and discussing with executives easier.

You're the first brand in the last few months that doesn't have your logo and icon and wordmark in SVG, across modes, you don't have your brand font listed.

I was able to grab your icon off a third party logo site that is just an ad revenue property for whoever owns it, but it doesn't contain your wordmark and thus I don't know what font and character style it's in.

Describe the solution you would like

May I suggest your marketing team or someone create a brand assets page and allow people to download?

If you need more motivation: the staying power and stickyness of Excel and Google Sheets is going to be tough to crack when "Crossing the Chasm" -- consultants and content creators are going to be your HIGH leverage ambassadors to the world. Make it easy for them (us, and me) to communicate about you to the world.

Besties,

M

An example of the asset library of trademarks I use in presentations:

Most helpful is if you offer not just the full trademark, but also have svg files that separate your icon from your wordmark, in both dark and light mode. Makes it easy to promote you.

We have a task for this that has been in the backlog for too long, as this is a great idea. Thank you for the well-reasoned reminder!

I've attached SVG versions of our logo/wordmark in the meantime. Please reach out if you need anything else and I'll do my best to help.
