A currently mostly empty draft is there:

https://github.com/git/git.github.io/blob/master/rev_news/drafts/edition-83.md

Feel free to comment in this issue, suggest topics, suggest persons to interview, or use the edit button (that looks like a pen) to edit and create a pull request with the changes you would like.

Let's try to publish this edition on Wednesday January 26th 2022!

Thanks!

In one of today's email newsletters, maybe for the Jan ed:

The Pull Request Paradox: Merge Faster by Promoting Your PR
Adding more context to our Pull Requests got them merged two days faster. Here's how it works...

Hopefully I'll squeeze the time to add it properly (still to read in full)

I noticed there's nobody slated to interview yet for this edition, so maybe there is still time to squeeze in an additional question? #535

Thanks @nasamuffin for this suggestion! @sivaraam takes care of interviewing people, so let's wait for his opinion on this.

Sure. Thanks for the suggestion @nasamuffin ! It does sound like an interesting question we could ask interviewees. I'll be sure to include it. 👍🏼

Maybe we did already talk to them and I missed it, but I'd be interested to hear from some of the new faces on the GitHub team, like Victoria and Lessley.

Thanks for the suggestion! We haven't interviewed them yet. I'll take a note and interview them in one of the future editions.

@PhilipOakley it looks like you haven't sent an MR to add the link you wanted to add. Would you like us to add it, or will you have time to do it before next Monday evening?

I may not have time. If its easy, then yes please to a MR. I do have a few more things I was going to add, but there is always next month if I miss the deadline ;-)
