Ctrl key bindings for neovim stopped working on 1.1.1

After version 1.1.1, all ctrl key bindings for neovim stopped working. Pressing ctrl+r does the same thing as pressing r. This is only true for neovim somehow. Ctrl key bindings work well in other programs.

At first I thought I screwed up somehow when playing around with the new macos-icon (which is awesome btw). Guess I was gaslighting myself.

It was specific to the kitty keyboard protocol

I believe it's because neovim utilizes the kitty keyboard protocol.

Fix up in #5747. EDIT: This is now in a released v1.1.2.

Thanks; this was killing the use of nvim for me as I have many ctrl + <key> keymaps. Release cannot come soon enough.
