Linux: A white border around the terminal appeared after an update to 1.1.0

The previous discussion around borders had no fixes for this issue.

I already tried padding and window-decoration changes (see #5508 (comment))

The padding is applied inside of the border and setting the background to anything does not override the border color.

See padding with value 10:
