It's likely that your system's Oniguruma version is too old. (The offending symbol is from kkos/oniguruma@ca2e6a4, released January 2022 and probably did not make it in time for 22.04.) In general we don't support Ubuntu 22.04 since it ships with an ancient GTK version that doesn't support many key Ghostty features.
