Relay management

Wondering if there is plans about making the relay manageable? I understand this was created as a "private relay" for back up purpose mainly, but with the tunneling idea to access your relay away from home you could let friend and family use the relay as well. I was thinking would be nice to have a bit more control
like blocking npubs but not sure if that's a big ask or even possible ( not sure if rust supports that im kinda new to the coding side of nostr ) Maybe I'm asking stupid question lol if so I'm sorry you wasted your time reading this.
