Pan Docs sometimes uses the term "single-speed" (with and without the hypen/capitalization) and sometimes "normal speed."

I think it's probably best to avoid the term "single-speed" because the Game Boy Color does always have two speeds available, not one, and keeping the CGB in double speed mode is still running it at a "single" speed.

For what it's worth, the official manual from Nintendo uses the word "normal" and not "single."
