what's wrong with my mapping for "2gt", "3gt" etc?

I've got these Control+[Number] mappings defined, however only <C-0> and <C-1> work as expected. Pressing C-2 moves the cursor a word (e.g. like pressing w), and pressing C-3 doesn't seem to do anything.
