Hi I'm new to nvim and I heard whichkey may be useful for new users so I am trying to use it.
I want Which-key to always be showing and not go away.
For example in DF2014,
every single screen in the menus has keybind hints in the format
g: action
where
g
is a key on the keyboard written in green fontwhere
: action
describes what happens when you press the keyI want to configure which-key to be as persistent as that, so that which-key is always there and always tells me which keys can be pressed and what they do.
Currently which-key only shows when it is triggered, but I want keybind hints always because I am completely new.
Maybe which-key should be triggered by inactivity because if the user is inactive they may be confused or walked away from the computer and forgot what they were doing, and they likely need help to remember that (1) they are in nvim
(2) the state of nvim
(3) what actions are available from the current state of nvim, whatever it is, whether or not they're in the middle of something
Maybe I'm looking at the wrong tool and I shouldn't be using which-key for this.
Thanks.
