2. scrap custom “pick emoji” UI (it’s not good yet) and use emoji keyboard as the custom picker (I’ll illustrate this) … or remove custom emoji option

• Been using preview for real life (with my wife) and there’s a bug where the chat view doesn’t refresh when you open it up from a notification — but then if you manually refresh the chat view (pulling up) the chats are there. Forgive me if this is well known, just wanted to capture it.

• increase speed on transitions/animations all around — notably on long-press (reactions+) a la Messenger; and on tap-for-timestamp. Might say even make them "too fast" like 2X or 3X faster, and we can cool it off if needed

• when I send a reply to a text from "up above" in the chat, I expect for the chat view to return to the bottom when my reply lands (today it stays up by the message I'm replying to)
• when I swipe "back" from a chat to the home screen, the composer hides and viewport moves (video)
