Error field definitions?

After latest update I get the error

Mismatched entity and/or field definitions
The following changes were detected in the entity type and field definitions.
Registrant
The Registrant type field needs to be updated.

But when I try to update the field definitions using "drush entity-update" the error does not go away.

Looks like some kind of bug?

I am also getting this.. can't make it go away and have tried entity update, deleting all registrant types (right now old data isn't too important), but it is still there. This is now an 8.5 site. I started using RNG much earlier (8.2?).
