Run long running background tasks in orleans 7

I have a channel in the grain and I want to wait for a new message continuously in the grain context. In orleans 3.x I was able to do it like this:

private task _listening;
public override async Task OnActivateAsync(CancellationToken cancellationToken) 
{        
    _listening = Listening();
    await base.OnActivateAsync();
}

private async Task Listening(CancellationToken cancellationToken)
{
    while(true)
    {
        var message = await channel.Reader.ReadAsync();
        // handle the message
    }
}

In orleans 7 _listening task is cancelled after 30 seconds. Is it a way to make it work like in 3.x? What the idea behind this change in the runtime?
