Help to understand dropdown menu selection with Browser Steps integration

Hi,
I successfully monitored my motherboard BIOS updates until they decided to implement a drop-down menu selection for the motherboard. Now I'm a bit stuck on how to do this. If someone could help me to understand, that would be great.

I assume via Browser Steps integration? But I can't figure out how.

A simple click doesn't run/invoke the dropdown itself. With my regular PC browser, there's a way to use the "Space bar" after navigating to the field with Tabs for example, but that's not the way with integration.

Maybe it is possible with Javascript, but do not have the knowledge, unfortunately.

i had the same issue here.
here is the solution for yours, just enter these in "Execute JavaScript before change detection"

const selectElement = document.querySelector(".ProductSupportDriverBIOS__select__37dSG");
selectElement.value = "ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI";
selectElement.dispatchEvent(new Event("change"));

This worked for me:
document.querySelector("select#selectElement1").value = "option1";
document.querySelector("select#selectElement1").dispatchEvent(new Event('change'));
