When I launch goofy I get the following error but goofy still seems to be working.

Uncaught Exception:
Error: Code signature at URL file:///Users/wew/Library/Caches/cc.buechele.Goofy.ShipIt/update.ZztvJVp/Goofy.app/ did not pass validation: code failed to satisfy specified code requirement(s)

@gwylym @dotdeas That's weird is it a popup or alert that you get? I don't suppose you have the screen shot? Oh and does it happen every time you launch Goofy?

One solution, if you could delete the app and re-install, and see if it still occurs.

If that doesn't work, could you try uninstalling the app, then deleting the following folders:

  • /Users/{your)user_name}/Library/Application Support/goofy-core
  • /Users/{your_user_name}/Library/Caches/cc.buechele.Goofy.ShipIt

And then seeing if you get the same error?

Thanks!

Tried your second solution and can't seem to get the error anymore. Tried restarting the app multiple times but no error so far.

Here is a screenshot of the error I got before

I can verify the same issue.

Seems to have coincided with the introduction of the notice to use the FB official client.

Same issue here, same error message.
Reinstall seems to have solved it.
