Starter Kit and Resources for Drupal

Local Environment Setup

1. Install WSL2 with Ubuntu 24.04

2. Install Windows terminal

3. Install Docker, DDEV inside WSL2

4. Install DDEV Drupal

5. Install Microsoft's WSL VS Code extension if you use VS Code as your IDE.

Code editor

Feel free to use any IDE you like. However, VS Code is the recommended IDE since it is light-weight, has a tone of extensions/plugins, and it is an industry standard.
