Chromer as a fallback browser problem

Once Brave is set as default, selecting Chromer in the dropdown menu always results in opening Chromer settings and not the current page. If Brave is not set as the default browser, it shows the icon to select the fallback browser to the left of the reading mode button, if Chromer is selected there, it will successfully hand off the current page to Chromer.
