Dimmer as a switch

I have several ceiling fans that I control via API. This great plugin is allowing me to easily develop an interface for controlling from HomeKit, but the Fanv2 has some unusual quirks that are not applicable to my fans and which make it more difficult for me to develop than if it was a simple dimmer switch.

I would like to see the light functionality as a switch in HomeKit, which would allow me to display as a fan, light, or switch while still using the "Brightness" dimmer option.
