Is it possible to add a badge that shows artifact's monthly download count?

As far as I'm aware Maven Central do not expose this data point via an API we could use.

Is there an open ticketing system for them? I just checked their support section and only found this email address: [email protected]

I asked the Sonatype team via email above. They stated there's no API for public use to request such stats at the moment -- closing ticket.
