Asciidoctor.js 3.x is published as ESM and does not work with the current VS code version. The next version (1.94) will support ESM: microsoft/vscode#226260

Hi, VS Code 1.94 was released on september 2024,

microsoft/vscode#226260 was closed.

Issue #881 seems related with this upgrade.

As far as I know, consuming ESM module in extensions still does not work: microsoft/vscode#130367
