Describe the bug
The raspberry pi boots, shows up as rdnis adapter but after a couple seconds it shuts down.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. flash sd card with pwnagotchi 1.8.4
  2. plug usb to the pi

Expected behavior
The raspberry pi to boot and stay open

Screenshots
Any screenshot taken looks blurry due to to the text scrolling too fast but i can try to take a non blurry one if its really required

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • 1.8.4
  • latest
  • pi zero 2 w
  • headlsess

Additional context
When plugged to a screen with hdmi, it boots up and asks you to login but before you could finish writing it says its stopping a bunch of stuff that i couldnt see due to it scrolling so fast and immediately closing. This could be due to something i did wrong but i literally didnt even have time to do anything as it shuts down super quickly. I have used pwnagotchi before with a pi zero w and it worked.
(edit: This seems to be an issue with the later versions because 1.8.0 works without a problem)

My setup is exactly the same as yours. I'll try the 1.8.0 and will update with my findings.

Well, my problem was

  • I use a waveshare V3 but set the config to V2 (look at the sticker!)
  • I had enabled ups_lite enabled.

Checking the logs after several boots revealed that the ups_lite got the battery reading of my pisuggar wrong. ups_lite commanded the pwnagotchi to shut down because of the 2% limit.

Disabling the ups_lite solved the problem for me and the latest version 1.8.4 also works well.
