Description

The .deb install asks to remove cmake, doesn't even offer an alternative version to install.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. sudo apt install cmake
  2. try to install .deb

Expected behavior: don't touch my cmake - I need it! alternatively, suggest the most recent acceptable version of cmake

Actual behavior: can't install the package without cmake being removed.

Versions

Using Ubuntu 18.04 64bit
Brackets 1.14

The Brackets install in ppa:webupd8team/brackets did not require removing cmake.. I suggest you remove the .deb provided in your website with the one from webupd8te, or point people to adding that ppa from your website.

It also solves the problems with curl, which I haven't mentioned in this bug report even though it also happened to me, because I've seen it reported in here: #14171
