Hi, when trying to use face detection on a fire hd 8 the following message pops: "Missing apropiete libraries to process face detection or barcode reading, this features may not work on this device".
Any way to add those libraries manually? Or include it on the software in a future update?
Thanks!

I assume It has something with the Google ML library ? Just guessing. Haven't checked the code yet at all.

Any word on this? I've got the same issue with my Fire HD 8 (10th gen). I installed WallPanel and google play services via the google play store, if that makes any difference.

FYI This repo has been abandoned years ago. Here is the current fork of the project: https://github.com/thecowan/wallpanel-android

As far as I can tell, this API is part of Google Play Services so it should be available on a Fire HD with the Google Play Services installed. https://developers.google.com/android/reference/com/google/android/gms/vision/face/Face. Having said that, I get the same error message.

However, it looks like it's a legacy API so perhaps it's no longer supported at all?
