Extension marketplace cannot sort search results

Describe the bug
VSCodium fails to sort extensions by any criteria in the extensions marketplace, the order appears to be arbitrary but it is the same order every time I try to search. The order is never changed by any "@sort" options.

Please confirm that this problem is VSCodium-specific

• This bug doesn't happen if I use Microsoft's Visual Studio Code. It only happens in VSCodium. Both are version 1.97.2 when I tested this. All extensions are disabled when testing.

Please confirm that the issue/resolution isn't already documented

• I checked the Docs page and the Troubleshooting page and my issue is not mentioned there.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to "Extensions" on the left
2. Search git @sort:installs

Expected behavior
Extensions are sorted by install count.
