I am using version 1.96.4. I cannot update to version 1.97.2 from within the program. Is there another method for updating or how to overcome this problem?

Which OS and installer did you used?

Same issue, I installed using the .deb file, I run Ubuntu 24.04

@JubilantJerry Automatic update have been disabled on Linux.
