What about the “While” block in control and the “is compiled?” boolean? |

It’s just a “forever:if”

While and for each are hidden blocks in Scratch. I used to abuse argument

hasn't happened recently (though those blocks still work just fine)
Ok, but what can I do with the "while" block?

This discussion is rather noisy and off topic. If you have anything you want to say, open a new discussion here: https://github.com/TurboWarp/scratch-gui/discussions/new or post on my Scratch profile comments: https://scratch.mit.edu/users/GarboMuffin/#comments |

The new blocks in the "TurboWarp" category have been moved to a disabled-by-default extension. You can still enable it manually:
Open the extension selector:

Find "TurboWarp Blocks", it's near the bottom

The blocks will always work. They're just being hidden from the palette by default. You can continue to use them if you want.
We're doing this because these blocks aren't compatible with Scratch and too many people don't seem to read the warning that appears when you save projects that use them, so we're going to make them harder to find. That might sound strange, but it's the easiest and most effective thing that can be done without removing them outright. It's possible that these blocks will be made compatible with Scratch using weird techniques in the future, but nothing is certain.
Adding new blocks is not and has never been the primary goal of TurboWarp. If you need more types blocks, maybe try Snap! or adacraft.
