Problem:
Whisper often splits a single spoken phrase into two subtitle entries with broken timecodes:
1: 00:00:01,000 → 00:00:03,000 Sentence.
2: 00:00:04,000 → 00:00:06,000 Another one.
Expected Behavior After Merge:
1: 00:00:01,000 → 00:00:06,000 Sentence, another one.
Request:
Add a “Merge 2 sentences into one” right-click option that:
Combines text: Replaces . with , + lowercases next word.
Adjusts timecodes: Uses start of first line + end of last line.
Deletes the now-redundant second line.
Why?
Fixes Whisper’s over-segmentation and timecode discontinuity in one action.
Saves manual editing.
Not sure about other languages, but in Serbian, it's killing with splitting one sentence into two, and even three.
