DeepL now supports Chinese Traditional but this option does not seem to show in Subtitle Edit Auto-Translate V2. Does it need to be implemented from the Subtitle Edit for this feature to be available?

However, I just tried the Beta, and DeepL still doesn't have Traditional Chinese listed in the pull-down menu. In other words, only Chinese (simplified) is available just like the current and previous version.

There is also no "Traditional Chinese" in other LLM, say, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc. Only Google/ Bing Translate have "Chinese Traditional". Please help to add it to other LLMs. Thanks.

Tested. Basically it can translate all lines without any issue. Just observe that it sometimes translate only the first line in first round, and continues normally for other rounds.

I have performed further test by using Claude api translation. I find that it translate only one line per time (more than 10 times) near the ending. It cause the overall translation time longer eventually.

Auto-translation with Google Gemini (2.0 flash) seems much better using latest beta. No more censored sentences that come out empty, at least for now.
I don't understand however why now Gemini seems to put a backslash before every quoted sentence:

"Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness." --> \"Stagione di bruma e di mite fecondità."
"I'll not pull my punches, Miss Mackay," I said. --> \"Non mi tirerò indietro, Signorina Mackay," ho detto.

I never seen this behaviour accessing Gemini via web or Google AI Studio.

I would like to know how to properly install this beta while keeping the previous settings, since the zip does not contain a setup program and the existing installation has some files in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Subtitle Edit.

It happened to me once or twice to get 404 errors again and again for about one hour, but with the stable version of SE.
I have not yet used the beta long enough to tell if this is still a sporadic issue.
