Adding multiple color swatches as variant

It would be great if its possible to add multiple color swatches as variant.
Scenario would be that a customer can choose the color of a bracelet in one color swatch variant and in the second color swatch variant it would be the color of a pendant.

I tried to work it out with metaobject even though the metaobject is connected to color and shows the entries with the color picture but in the product page only one of the variants is a color swatch the other is just text in oval shape boxes.
