mouse stops clicking sometimes

Describe the bug

whenever i open the game with a bluetooth mouse connected it just stops working sometimes (clicking buttons doesnt work). i have a bluetooth keyboard connected too and it works completely fine. i noticed that without any mouse connected and the virtual mouse disabled (so using it as a touchscreen) the buttons also stop working sometimes, but its rarer.

Steps To Reproduce

this is the only way i found that made the mouse stop working every time
once in pojavlauncher,
click play
once the game loads, go to singleplayer
open an already existing world
press esc
try and click any button, at this point the mouse should not work

Expected Behavior

i expect the buttons to open their respective menus when clicked
