thanks for reminding me - I will prepare new gnome-shell packages as soon as possible. In the mean time, it's fully ok to use the stock debian gnome packages.
Just a quick bump. I've upgraded from the main repos and lost the useful graphics menu for choosing screen mode/rotation, as well as the second backlight slider. Any easy way to get those back?
My Gnome Control Center is all garbled and illegible since I performed an
apt upgrade
.It turns out that it relies on a new mutter package which is currently being overridden by the pinenote repository's older package.

Here is a list of all of the held-up packages, although I'm not sure which ones are intentional.
I'm not going to over-ride the priorities on the repos, since I'm sure there are good reasons for patches!
