I see this was reported in Home Assistant but I don't see it here and I'm suffering the same dilemma. The window opens fine & is functional, just the cursor disappears when entering the VNC window.
Tried access via IOS 14 (phone) and do not have the ability to scroll around on the pages so if the display is too big, then that feature is not available.
Would like to echo the sentiment I read elsewhere on Home Assistant, I don't mind the embracing of new/better methods but the transition from HiveMQTT & old Zwave to this new format is extremely expensive in terms of time & effort especially to "casual" users such as myself. I've used HA for years and slowly added on to it. One of the "selling points" of HA was the support/integration for Zwave, but I'm not a full time programmer (Cobol / Forth was on my resume)

If you weren't using the Addon you could install the official docker image and there is an option to show a dot for the mouse cursor, like every VNC client lets you do. Not a full solution but it helps some.

I'm sorry, but you are directing your grievances to the wrong place. This project has nothing to do with Home Assistant, besides HA bundling it in their addon.
