Release Notes

This is a minor release, focused on preventing a rare set of order errors. The biggest change for users is that we have dropped support for 32 bit versions of the application.

There are several bugs that are caused by supporting 32 bit computers, and those versions are used by a very small percentage of our user base. We feel that we need to focus our limited resources on providing the best application possible for the majority of our users.

If you are using a 32 bit computer, your old OpenBazaar application will still work, but you will no longer be able to update it.

This release uses version 0.13.6 of the openbazaar-go server. You can view server changes at this link:

• A problem where notifications were not showing up because of an update on the server has been corrected. #1811

• In the user page about tab, the entire short description of the user will now be visible. #1802
• A number of dependencies were updated. This should have no effect on users. #1810, #1781
• Some data that was being collected by Countly for users that opted into metrics is no longer being collected. #1801
• The QR codes used in the purchase and wallet screens have been updated to allow more data to be compatible with coins that may be added in the future like Monero. #1798
• If no coupons are available on a listing, the coupon input will no longer be shown. #1797
• The scam prevention URL in the purchasing flow was updated. #1784

Bug Fixes

• A bug with the resync wallet button was corrected, and the minimum time between resyncs was decreased. #1809
• A small bug where filter types that aren't recognized were partially rendered in search was fixed. #1803
• When using Tor, users will no longer see an external link warning when deleting tags. #1800
• When listings have conditions no phrase exists for in the language files, the untranslated text will now be shown. #1794
• When searching for a type of cryptocurrency, then changing to search via a suggestion, the type parameter will be reset and the expected filters will be shown. #1796
