Hi everyone,

I am experiencing the same issue as described here: I cannot add new substates because the "Add" button is missing in Settings > Technical > Sub State Configuration.

I have checked my user permissions (Admin + Technical Features enabled) and confirmed that the module is installed correctly, but the issue persists.

It is necessary to modifying the XML files directly (e.g., adding records in sale_substate/views/sale_view.xml)? Can someone confirm if this is the correct approach? Or is there an alternative solution to enable substate creation from the UI?

I’ve resolved the issue by adding the user to the Substate Manager group.
